Plant fibers

Chile, a land of contrasts , stretches across a strip of exceptionally diverse climates and ecosystems. Its wetlands, coasts, lake shores and archipelagos nestled between mountains and valleys are home to an incredible wealth of plant fibers. Used for centuries by ancestral populations, these fibers are now revisited to create objects that blend tradition and modernity.

This collection showcases natural fibers such as Ñocha (Eryngium paniculatum), Manila (Phormium Tenax), Chupón or Quiscal (Greigia sphacelata), Jonquillo (Scirpus holoschoenus), Copihue (Lapageria rosea) and Voqui pilfuco (Berberidopsis corallina). Harvested by hand in the mountains and fields or grown in greenhouses for the rarest species, these noble materials embody the deep connection between craftsmanship and nature.

Care :

  • Maintain durability : Expose your baskets and natural fiber objects to the sun from time to time to prevent mold from forming.
  • Clean gently : For light stains, use a toothbrush or soft brush. Avoid submerging items in water or washing them under a faucet. If necessary, dab stubborn stains with a slightly damp cloth.

These unique pieces tell the story of a know-how that respects and enhances Chilean natural resources. Long live noble materials!
